When you decide to sell that house you worked so hard to buy or create, it's not always the best timing or to be honest, the best house and/or location. When we made the snap decision to return home to NZ and sell up the market was poor, we lived alongside a main road and we hadn't even finished the interior painting or the landscaping!

Even worse is that you have to rely on real estate agents who are often afforded the same mistrust as used car salesmen...lots of paperwork and fast talking but what does it all really mean for your wallet!
